What would Tom McCann do?
Hey guys, my name is Tom McCann and I am currently a senior at Temple University. I consider myself to be a pretty interesting guy, and I love making life as exciting as possible. I lifeguard in the summer down at the beach and it definitely opened my eyes up to the world. For most of my early life even my early high school years, I was basically a nerd. I had glasses, braces, and even worse game than the New Jersey Nets this year. But between life guarding and just growing up, that changed drastically. I am writing this blog guys because quite frankly I have seen it all since that time, and I would like to help all you guys with any questions you may have. Life isn't easy I know that, but experiences truly do make you who you are. Girls, partying, and friends will give you many problems and I would like to help you all through all this bullshit you may be facing. I want you guys to ask me anything and nothing is too embarrassing (trust me). So let me know, and I will tell you exactly what Tom McCann would do. Later.

Yo tom my question is I have this boy of mine he is my best friend and he dated this girl for a while and they eventually broke up. This girl is a slut and a whore and he keeps talking to her for some reason.....is it acceptable for me to step in and basically end things for him myself because if he ends up with this girl his life will be ruined
ReplyDeleteBoom, it seems that I know countless people who hate the girls/guys that their friends are hanging out with. The reason your buddy keeps going back to this girl could be for a couple of reasons. 1. He may actually love her. 2. He just loves the physical aspect. 3. He is so used to having her around that he is not even sure how to live without her. Based on what you are saying, I am leaning towards #1 being the real reason. For him to keep going back to her even after knowing her slutty ways, it shows that he may really have strong feelings for her. It sounds ridiculous, but sometimes people look past other peoples flaws just because they cant live without them. Now while that is the case, the question stands, can you intervene? You could certainly try. Problem is, it would most likely fail miserably. While he may be your best friend, this girl will still have a stronger hold over him. If her slutty ways aren't enough to get him to leave her, than you interfering certainly wont. Lets just hope your friend is able to find somebody better to snap him out of it. And if not, it is going to be one hell of a terrible wedding. Hope this helps Boom.
